Online Lists to Join

Navigating the many lists - an overview

If you join only one local burner list, pick the SBB Announce List. Then you’ll know of local burner events, meetings and workshops. For chitchat with other local burners, join the SiliCon List. Join tribe.net to see faces. See below.

South Bay Burners Announce List
This low traffic list posts only announcements about burner events in and around Silicon Valley, including Regional meetings and a wide variety of local member-led events, workshops and group meetings. Everyone is invited to join. Traffic is typically ~5 emails per week. To subscribe to the moderated SBB Announce List, send a blank email to:
southbay-announce-subscribe@burningman.com.

  Post to the SBB Announce List
Hosts of burner events are encouraged to invite the South Bay Community by posting to the SBB Announce List. Posts are routed through the moderator and only non-commercial local burner event announcements will be passed on. To post to the SBB Announce List, send your invitation to:

South Bay Burners Regional Discussion List
This unmoderated discussion list is where the community covers events, projects and issues concerning the Region's operation and leadership. To join the SBB Yahoo Group, send a blank email to: southbayburners-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

SiliCon Burners Discussion List
This active list is unmoderated and provides an opportunity for Silicon Village members and others in the community to discuss a variety of local burner topics. Traffic often exceed 10 posts a week, depending on how hot the topic and local plans. To join this discussion list, send a blank email to: SiliconBurners-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

SiliCon Burners on Tribe
See our faces, engage in online discussions and make new friends in the community, visit http://tribes.tribe.net/SiliConBurners. If you join the tribe and want new posts to be emailed to you (a very nice feature) you must change the default. Click on > Account > Messages > Tribe Digests and select daily or weekly digest.
